About Pteah Baitong
Starting as a subsidiary of the French NGO Entrepreneurs Du Monde in 2015, Pteah Baitong initially offered solar home systems. It later shifted to solar-powered pumps but struggled with profitability and nearly closed. In 2022, SOGO Energy Pte. Ltd partnered with Entrepreneurs Du Monde to pivot Pteah Baitong's operations toward solar-powered Irrigation as a Service (IaaS).
